This career program offers all aspects of the trade. Both theoretical and practical applications of the skill will be covered. Learning is accomplished through practical instruction and student participation with equipment, tools and materials normally used in the trade. Students quickly advance to performing services on clients. There are practical work-based training components. Students will be involved in work experience as well. The program is designed to instruct the students about the foundation of hairdressing required to meet the industry standards in the role of a Hairdresser in a salon.
